Learning Innovation invites instructors new to teaching at Duke to hear from a panel of award-winning faculty as they share their teaching insights and lessons learned from their years of teaching. Registration is now open for “What I Wish I Had Known About Teaching (at Duke).” Participating in this event is an excellent opportunity to build connections between new and experienced faculty at Duke.

This year’s panelists include:
- Dr. John Blackshear is the Dean of Academic Affairs, as well as an instructor for Forensic Psychology;
- Dr. Jules Odendahl-James is the Director of Academic Engagement, Arts & Humanities for the Academic Resource Center, as well as an instructor of writing and theater;
- Dr. Minna Ng is the faculty director for the David M. Rubenstein Scholars Program, as well as Assistant Professor of the Practice in Psychology and Neuroscience; and
- Dr. Len White is an Associate Professor in Neurology, as well as the Associate Director of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences.
