Joe Salem

Joe Salem (he/him) oversees the office of Learning Innovation and Lifetime Education, with responsibility for the development and execution of pedagogical innovation and digital education strategies, youth academic enrichment programs, and continuing education and lifelong learning offerings.

Aria Chernik

Aria (she/her) works to strategically advance the culture of research, assessment, and analytics in teaching and learning. She oversees LILE’s faculty development, research, evaluation, and learning analytics work and plays a critical role in efforts to continuously improve teaching and learning practices, understand impact, and inform systems change. Michael (he/him) is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration and operations of digital education, digital learning infrastructure, and product design and development. Jacques Morin

Jacques (he/him) oversees the development and delivery of Duke’s educational offerings for working professionals and adult learners.

Beth Owen

Beth (she/her) provides overall administrative management and coordination of various business-related functions including finance, budget, personnel, space and facilities planning, grant administration, academic support, and policy interpretation and dissemination as the highest-level business management administrator within LILE.

Stefany Sanders

Stefany (she/her) coordinates and advances key initiatives and operations, manages critical priorities, and represents the Vice Provost’s interests through effective communication and strategic integration. Learn more about Stefany >

Nara Strickland

Nara (she/her) directs the the PK-20 programs team, which develops programming that inspires and challenges the next generation of thinkers and leaders while offering them a glimpse into the opportunities for their future.

Ying Xiong
