In 2020, we partnered with Coursera to expand access to their catalog for the Duke community with the Coursera for DKU and the Duke 2020 Access programs. Those opportunities were originally scheduled to end this year, but because of your enthusiasm for learning, Coursera has developed a new learning program that will continue to allow Duke students, faculty and staff access to thousands of high-quality courses from Duke and other institutions through the Coursera Partner Consortium.
The Coursera Partner Consortium is a content-sharing initiative that makes it possible for Coursera partners (i.e. universities that author content hosted on the Coursera platform) to share open content with other participating partners.
All open content from participating university partners is available in Coursera for Duke via the Partner Consortium. Professional Certificate, MasterTrack™ and Degree Content will not be included. Currently participating universities include the University of Michigan, Vanderbilt, Rice, Peking University, Berklee College of Music, and over 100 other Coursera partner schools and organizations.
If you are currently registered for the Duke 2020 Access program (renamed to Coursera for Duke) or Coursera for DKU, no action is required. You will retain access to non-partner courses you are already enrolled in through April 28, 2021.
If you are a Duke student, faculty or staff member – or are a Duke degree-seeking DKU student – you may register for the expanded learning program.
You must have a Duke NetID to enroll. We hope you enjoy advancing your learning through Duke’s and our university partners’ many courses through the Coursera Partner Consortium!
