Anderson Hagler is a Ph.D. candidate at Duke University where he has taught as an instructor of record on three occasions. In response to the pandemic, Anderson created a new online course entitled Disease through the Ages, which was well received by undergraduates interested in history, public policy and epidemiology. Lauren Heckelman is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in biomedical engineering (BME). She is a life-long Blue Devil, having previously obtained her B.S.E. and M.S. degrees in BME from Duke in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
