Project Description
In Spring 2011, Negar Mottahedeh, Associate Professor, Literature, used the iPad in her course Literature 255, Mapping the Technologies of Resistance. The course looks at the uses of technologies of resistance in social uprisings – everything from cameras, phones, and fax machines to the social media, tactics and other tools. Professor Mottahedeh had two students in the course who pursued projects to map internet access and censorship and they used the iPad for display and work on the projects.
