Sites@Duke

Sites@Duke is Duke’s WordPress service, providing faculty, staff and students a way to quickly create and publish blogs and websites. CIT supports faculty uses of Sites@Duke for teaching and learning activities. Since 2010, members of the Duke community have created 10,200 active blogs.

In 2016-17, Duke faculty members created 175 course sites (6% decrease from 2015-16) on Sites@Duke. Students can also create mini-sites (called ‘subsites’) that branch off of a main course site. This year, Duke students and faculty created another 595 sub-sites (3% decrease from 2015-16).
